I want to know good stretches and exercises (provide pics if possible) for people such as myself to increase height. I hope as this thread progresses I can answer any questions you may have about my diet and health and we can formulate something to help me achieve my dream of getting taller because it means a lot to me.
To start off I'll give some general info about myself, I have good diet, get pretty much all the nutrition I need out of my food (beef, chicken, all kinds of vegetables, fruits etc). I drink quite a lot of water. I drank lots of milk throughout my teen years. I remained actively involved in football, swimming and other such sports from when I was little until the age of 17 or so after which I started gym regular for 3 years (NO weight lifting, just minor dumbbells here and there but mostly pull ups, push ups and some stretches) and I continued to do pull ups at home after I had to stop going to the gym.
Well for my growth history, I think I hit puberty late as I looked like a 12 year old when I was 16 and was only 5'0' tall. From age 16 to age 18 I underwent a big change in my appearance and height, growing up till 5'6' at age 18. I'm pretty much at that height, with most of my grow taller efforts (mainly pull ups and stretches) coming after age 18. I have, however, not been involved in any sports or running activities since age 18 which is bad.
Ok heres my genetic background, mom height 5'5', dad height 5'11', younger and older sister's heights both 5'5'. Dad's side of family: my grandfather 6'0', grandmother I dont remember but was tall, uncle 6'4', aunt 5'8', male cousins 6'4', 6'3' 6'0' and 6'0' , female cousins 6'1' and 5'8 Mom's side of family: my grandfather 5'11', grandmother 5'0', aunts all 5'5' or 5'4', uncle 5'5', dont know heights of their kids (cousins)
I dont know if this means anything but I resemble my father much, much more than my mother.
So yeah just some info, and do please give me tips or a program to follow.
